There are different types of Television shows that you see everyday on Television.
They range from Reality to Drama to Horror to Comedy and you could go on, but that?s
not what?s important. Three most important parts of Television shows are the show times,
whether are not they are age appropriate, and the days which they premiere on.
The first most important part about Television shows is the show times. Some people
don?t pay attention to the show times, that is why they miss a show that they wanted to
see. If you don?t pay attention to the show times, then how will you know what time that
new show was supposed to start. For example, I wanted to watch that new CSI show but I
thought it played at seven p.m. and it actually played at six p.m..
The second most important part about Television shows are whether are not they are
age appropriate. Morning shows are mostly children appropriate basically because
children are up and getting ready for school. There are more children than adults up in the
mornings so producers show cartoons or kid movies to give the children something to do
while they are waiting for the bus or while they are finishing their breakfast. Afternoon
shows are mostly adult appropriate basically because there are more adults at home then
there are children. Adults watch things like the News or Food Network channels. For
example, I watch the Food Network channel to sort of get an idea for dinner that night.
Evening shows are mostly Family appropriate because the family is all at home together
and they can sit and watch a movie together while they talk about their day.
The third most important part about Television shows is the days that they
premiere on. On Sundays you can watch Hallmark movies on ABC Family. On holidays,
such as Halloween they premiere movies that have something to do with that specific
holiday. For example, Nightmare On Elm Street is premiering Halloween Night, October
thirty-first.
If you decide that the next new show on Television catches your eye and you want
to see it, remember the three most important parts about Television shows: show times,
whether or not it?s age appropriate, and the days that they premiere on.

Is my apartment complex allowed to deny satellite?
I recently moved into a new apartment complex and the owner told me they do not allow satellite service at the apartments. She said we are only allowed to use cable, but the only cable provider in this area is Comcast. AT&T Uverse is starting to pop up around town, but they haven't made it to my area yet. She said they do this because they don't want satellites out on our balconies. They want each apartment to have a uniform appearance on the outside.
This isn't a huge deal, but I've dealt with Comcast before and I'm really just not a fan. If I had another option, I wouldn't choose to use them.
Are they (the owners of the apartments) allowed to limit what type of television service you are able to choose from? I'm going to go ahead and get Comcast because I don't want to have any sort of conflict with the owners, especially since I just moved in, but I'm really just curious as to why, if they are, allowed to do this?

What are my chances of getting into Boston University/Boston College/Emerson?
So my GPA is a 3.9
I have over 200 volunteer hours
My SAT was Math: 610 Reading: 500 Writing: 550 (I plan to take it again!)
MY ACT was a composite score of 25 with a writing score of 8/12 (Also plan to try again and I got huge books for both the SAT and ACT)
Honors Classes I've Taken: Honors Biology, Honors Chemistry, Honors Physics, Pre Calc (If that's an honors class lol)
AP Classes I've taken/will take: AP Psychology, AP Physics, AP U.S. History, AP Calc
Scores on AP Tests: AP Psychology: 4
I want to major in some type of television program, I've taken our Advanced video productions class for about 5 semesters! Any more info you need let me know! :)
Relay for Life (Walked for cancer and volunteered) : 57 hours
Silver Beach Elementary (Helped with the kids and ran errands for the teacher) : 8:15 hours
Hovander Park ( Helped take pictures for Down syndrome Outreach and helped with their picnic) : 4:40 hours
St. Francis Childcare (Helped take the kids on field trips and around the class room) : A little over 50 hours
Rotary Interact (A club at school, help around the community once a month) : 5:30 hours and more to come when the school year starts
Cornwall Church (Learned how to operate lights and did it for services) : 11 hours and more to come
I also filmed a short film for my culminating project about Down syndrome and volunteered about 20 hours for that, filming during his physical therapy and at home, and also my editing time.
That connects to my major because in the class we put on a news show almost everyday for the school. I was the director for most of the class and learned a lot! I know how a small show works!
I also did junior varsity fast pitch freshman year and am in the mentor program this year that meets with incoming freshman once a month!
I also went to a film camp for a week at Western Washington University which I got a full ride scholarship for. The year before I attended UW for a week with a program that I've been with since 7th grade (Gear Up) to learn about college. Gear Up is a program that gears us up for college and will stay with us until we graduate high school. Then we get a 6-10 thousand dollar scholarship to any school!
it's a 3.9 unweighted. And apparently half of you guys didn't see that I said I was RETAKING my tests. I'm not keeping those bad scores! I have books that I'm going to study from, I'm taking them until I have good scores!
