Sony BRAVIA 52-Inch LCD HDTV Review, Model: KDL-52XBR9
Product Overview: The Sony BRAVIA 52-Inch LCD HDTV, Model: KDL-52XBR9 comes from the luxury line of Sony's LCD HDTV models. This LCD HDTV will provide you with extraordinary features that are unique within the industry. With a vividly dynamic contrast ratio as well as super-charged color engines and filters, this LCD HDTV has all of the necessary features to play your favorite movie, TV show or video game in brilliant clarity. The average price for this Sony BRAVIA LCD HDTV is $3, 400 and it an be purchased at any major electronics retailer as well as through online merchants.
Product Rating: Overall Rating: 4/5 Stars Main Features and Technologies: This Sony BRAVIA LCD HDTV stems from the XBR product line, which is known for its ability to produce high-quality, and extremely life like, images. With a screen that measures 52-inches, you will have a true widescreen viewing experience. With the 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio, movies on this television will be produced in genuine cinematic style. Another feature that helps produce movie-like images is the Progressive Scan CineMotion Reverse Pulldown. This hefty feature will provide an extremely accurate depiction of film-based movies. The BRAVIA 3 Engine will provide you with the highest level of digital video processing. This feature will work together with the high pixel count and advanced color engines to produce extremely sharp and vivid images. When you combine this feature with the 24p True Cinema System, you will have images that are extremely realistic and fluid within their motions. This Sony BRAVIA LCD HDTV will allow you to enjoy a decent sound experience. I found that the audio system within this television to be excellent, and you won't have to purchase external speakers in order to enjoy a stunning audio experience. The speakers produce a total of 20-Watts of audio power, which may not seem like a lot to some, however, it is the internal technologies that boosts the sound. With a digital amplifier built-into this LCD HDTV, you'll be able to enjoy high-fidelity audio fields. Of course, this audio system comes with the SRS TruSurround XT system to provide stellar audio performance. As for connectivity options, you will be able to connect your computer to this LCD TV through the PC Input. This will allow you to have the coolest computer screen. I suggest buying a wireless mouse and keyboard to really enjoy this feature. There are also four HDMI ports and a USB port to connect your personal digital devices, such as a digital camera or iPod.
