The Mitsubishi 60" Projection TV has many features to recommend. It uses DLP (Digital Light Processing. This uses millions of tiny mirrors to project the image from the processor onto the screen.)
The Mitsubishi 60" Projection TV is available at Best Buy for $1299.99 The screen on the Mitsubishi 60" Projection TV is 60" and is displayed in widescreen (16 x 9) aspect ratio. It is a true HDTV with a picture resolution of 1080p (1920 x 1080) The Mitsubishi 60" Projection TV comes with little in the way of extras. You get a universal remote, and the owner's manuals. It does not come with any of the cables to hook the set up. The Mitsubishi 60" Projection TV is 3D ready (with extra equipment i.e. 3D glasses needed) so you can enjoy the latest in 3D entertainment. This is a great feature as more and more motion pictures, and video games are being released in 3D these days. One issue with some HDTV receivers is blurring in high speed scenes. The Mitsubishi 60" Projection TV has a 120Hx refresh rate which helps to reduce this problem. The Mitsubishi 60" Projection TV has a 6 color light engine, Deep color, and Deep field imaging system included which brings expanded color and brighter images to life. The Mitsubishi 60" Projection TV has an advanced calibration system which helps to ensure the best color and images on the screen, and includes SharpEdge " technology which enhances the horizontal and vertical edge of the picture for better sharpness and clarity. The speakers are not the best. One would expect better sound quality for the price. However, if you connect the Mitsubishi 60" Projection TV to a good surround sound system, you can bypass the speaker issue. The Mitsubishi 60" Projection TV does have a sound leveler system that automatically prevents the sound going to ear splitting levels, when the commercials come on while watching the TV late at night. The Mitsubishi 60" Projection TV does include 3 HDMI inputs, 3 component/composite inputs, 2 RF, and one stereo audio input. When I got the Mitsubishi 60" Projection TV home, I noticed that the picture was good, but not great. I had to do some fine tuning, but once I ran the calibration mode the picture became much better. The Mitsubishi 60" Projection TV may seem pricey bout when you consider it's a 60" screen, you are getting a bargain.
