The Olevia Hdtv brands are owned by the Syntaxbrillian Corporation, which was formed on November 30, 2005. The company was a merger of Syntax, which started shipping wide screen LCD HDTV sets in 2004, and Billian Corporation, which produced a product listed as PC Magazine's "best rear projection TV" in the magazine's 2005 holiday gift guide.
The company also owns the Vivitar digital still and video camera brand. If you're an investor who thinks Syntaxbrillian might be a good buy, recent shares sold at $3.83 per share on the NASDAQ Exchange. According to information publicly available to potential investors, 2008 revenues are expected to be between $650 million and $685 million.

the info button on my remote will not show the show titles?
i have an olevia hdtv with a built-in hd / digital tuner, and when i hit info on my remote, it gives me the parental rating of the show and even the resolution of the broadcast, but it will not show the title of the show. thanks for any help.

Bad quality text on monitor!?
I was on the computer doing stuff when the monitor turned off and on again for no reason, and now all of the text is "bad looking". Everything else works and looks fine but the text is worse and quite annoying. I have a 27" Olevia HDTV.
Anyway to fix it?

Return 32" 720p Olevia HDTV for 26" Samsung HDTV?
I have a 32" 720p Olevia HDTV. Flat Panel, 1600:1, HDMI, Bult in HDTV Tuner.
But its actually a little bigger than I thought once I had it in my room. With that said, I think a 26" is good enough for me.
So if I returned it back to circuit city for a 26" Samsung LCD HDTV, 720p, 4000:1 and basically all the features the Olevia has. Do you think it would be a good move?
Are samsungs that much better? Is it reliable? I know for sure based on the displays at the store that their picture is a WHOLE LOT BETTER, but is it worth downgrading the size of my screen for the quality of a samsung?
btw, with the tv I plan to watch channels in HD, get a hi def dvd player, put in my ps3 and xbox 360.
no i will not go with a 1080p since I dont have the money for that. Im just asking if it is better to go from a 32" olevia to a 26" samsung.
