If you enjoy watching movies, then you will really love the various features that have been installed to enhance the picture fluidity. To start off, the screen for this LCD HDTV measures 42-inches, which is the ideal size for those who want big-screen features without the big-screen price or room restrictions. The panel for this LCD television has a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080, which will allow you to view 1080p formatting. This format is the highest rated HD available, thus any image within this screen will have lifelike quality. When you view this television in action, you will think you're looking through a window, it really is gorgeous. Another interesting feature is the expanded viewing angles. While most LCD HDTVs feature a limited viewing angle, this screen will allow you to sit within 178-degrees both vertically and horizontally while still obtaining a great image. If you enjoy having company over, then you will really love the wide viewing angles that this TV offers. The contrast ratio for this screen measures 80, 000:1, which is the only complaint I had. Does a Westinghouse 1080p HDTV have a less clear picture than a LG 1080p HDTV?
If I get a Westinghouse 42" HDTV with 1080p, will the picture be any worse than a more popular brand of TV such as a LG, Sony, or Samsung that has 1080p also? I wouldnt think so since they have the same specs but Im not quite sure.
