LG LCD TV Review 47SL9000

LG is a manufacturer known for the exceptional quality electronics at a price that is correct. Their most recent foray saw them enter the market for flat screen LCD television with amazing results at first. Their new range of LED televisions, the SL9000 series, have been wowing consumers, the combination of full HD capabilities and features hassle-free and long lifetime have been converted into a drawing. But how are these new LED televisions?

LG have produced what appears to be, stunning TV at competitive new range includes the LG costs.Their 47SL9000, one of the smaller screens, although the specifications are pretty much the same everywhere.

SL9000 LG variety of HDTV have a series of LEDs located on the edge of the screen rather than the traditional format LCD seen on many models currently produced. Light Emitting Diode became the new watchword in an industry that strives to produce increasing levels of detail and display quality. There is no denying that the 47SL9000 and it is larger, 47 "brother produce exceptional visualization (contrast ratio 3, 000, 000:1 alone produces a truly superb selection, and depth, a new breath to viewing HD).

The only drawback of screens on the 47SL9000 - HD 1080p display has been coated with a glossy coat that usually reflect much light on the surface so you should plan to put this TV in a room where he won "t be in full sun. LG has coined the term" without borders "to describe the SL9000 series, but even if it is slim compared to many of their previous models, this is not the slimmest TV available from buyers (3.5 cm on the edges and more than 4 cm at the bottom).

In the first step, the charges LG 47SL9000 the factory default settings by default are, if we're brutally honest, not designed for optimal viewing. One of the best recommendations we can make is to read the instruction manual and configure the TV to your own needs rather than using the default LG. One of the major modes on the LG can be 47SL9000 Cinema Mode, which was created to provide a quality experience throughout viewing high out of the box. We found that this parameter needs minor adjustments to obtain an image of excellent quality (some minor backlight settings you will do).

Unfortunately, LG decided to build the 47SL9000 TV Trumotion 100Mhz motion - the motion control features found on the SL8000 series is a well superior200 Hz - but the game still handles fast motion well.

The construction and design quality are up there with the biggest names in the manufacture of LCD and 47SL9000 characteristics fairly well all the connectors you need to transform it into a decent media center. Connecting the TV to your compatible games consoles or a Blu-Ray device simple and television has help for older devices like VCRs and SD.

Unfortunately, there is no SD card reader simply because LG have decided that this TV does a USB port. Not a big problem that the USB plug lets you attach a wide variety of multimedia devices (AVC HD, SD and HD DivX). If this is not enough, the SL9000 models also benefit from using LG for DLNA compatible products that allow you to connect to the broadcast content via the Ethernet port.

The remote SL9000 is both easy to use and enjoy a panel against the light that makes it easy to see what you do when used in a dark room.

LG audio capabilities 47SL9000 could do with a boost. Not that LG have saved on the characteristics, far from it. The culprit here may be the super model body type that, because it is only 2.9 cm thick, no room for decent speakers! The resulting sound is below normal in the depth of sound, but it is unlikely to become a problem for fans of TV with plans to connect the 47SL9000 their surround sound system.

The 47SL9000 LED TV receives a big thumbs up in the department of energy. The 47SL9000 uses only 0.3 watts in standby mode when it is placed which, although more than other LED TV there is nevertheless a major step for most LCD TVs on the market right now.

Help Choosing a TV (links included)?
These are the 3 TVs I am looking at...one is the above link... http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Insignia%26%23153%3B+-+32%22+Class+/+1080p+/+60Hz+/+LCD+HDTV/9574105.p?id=1218131058508&skuId=9574105&st=9574105&cp=1&lp=1 - Insignia 32" 1080p LCD http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Toshiba+-+32%22+Class+/+720p+/+60Hz+/+LCD+HDTV/2138103.p?id=1218310762058&skuId=2138103&cmp=RMX&ky=1uYuJ6VhbT3hheWN2zh8YGObMq18EQBj2#tabbed-customerreviews - Toshiba 32" 720p LED-LCD (Its LED-LCD, if you look at specs it says so, not sure why it doesnt on the main page) http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Dynex%26%23153%3B+-+32%22+Class+/+720p+/+60Hz+/+LED-LCD+HDTV/1405381.p?id=1218255997944&skuId=1405381&st=1405381&cp=1&lp=1#tabbed-customerreviews - Dynex 32" 720p LED-LCD Now, the price is $350, $350, $320.....I don't know much about Dynex but I know its BB's brand and its mostly made by LG (from a google search), so I may go with the $350 Toshiba, drop the 1080p to 720p and get an LED out of it, what do ya'll think? I know 1080p isn't too noticeable at my viewing distance and screen size, so I am considering using the extra money toward an LED 720P....what do you think? Of the 3, the Toshiba is available today for me to buy from the store, the rest would be 5-10days in store pickup and I would like the TV faster of course, but if its worth waiting for the shipping, let me know.

Do I have a mental disease? Can you help me diagnose this?
Depression runs in my family, I have been extremely depressed lately (more then the usual one or two days a month, this is continual now). I am a 20 year old male. I find myself getting down, then sometimes craving foods (binge eating?), if I start to read about a new electronics item, I want to buy it right away (addictive shopping?) and I find that after I eat or buy the item, I feel no satisfaction. Example, yesterday I wanted a new LED-LCD HDTV, so I bought one for about $350. Didn't think about anything other than I wanted it to play my games on and take to my apartment once I finally move out of my parents' house. I was so blinded by the ambition that I didn't realize that I had nothing HD to hook up to it, no antenna for basic channels, all I had was my Xbox 360 and a DVD player, meaning the purchase really could've waited. Is this behavior along the lines of a mental disorder other than depression? I really need some help with it, its getting bad and effecting my employment.
