JVC Add a New HD Pocket Camcorder to the Crowd
Pocket camcorders have been very popular over the past year and the market for pocket camcorders has really boomed. JVC is the latest manufacturer to join in with the mini camcorder releases, no doubt in an attempt to take the crown from the ever-popular Flip pocket camcorder. The JVC Picsio GC-FM1 certainly adds a new level of design to its new model, compared to its competitors and thoughts are that consumers will either love the design or hate it. However; the camcorder does impress where it matters most as it has an 8 megapixel sensor for stills and full 1080p HD video capture. This little device shoots straight to SDHC memory card and you can choose how much footage you want to capture on this little gadget. A slight negative point to mention about this JVC model is that you will still have to pay out extra cash on a memory card separately, as one hasn't been included in the box. Other features worth noting are its digital image stabilisation that will banish any signs of shaky hands, a quick YouTube upload process for those who want to share their captured videos and 96 minutes worth of filming from a single charge. There are no release dates on this as yet, but it is being reported that this pocket camcorder will hit the shops at around the 170 price mark. If you are currently in the market for a pocket digital camcorder then it is worth shopping around and comparing all of the different makes and models out there so that you ensure you will bag yourself the best bargain.

Up converting Video Question?
I own a JVC 1080P television a PS3 and I just bought a Sony STR-DG910 7.1-Channel Home Theater Receiver and HDMI cords 1.3. My question is the PS3 will not up convert copy protected standard DVDs but when using the receiver and the HDMI output, which It will up convert the quality of the Picture, will the DVD appear 1080pish or at least better despite PS3 not upconverting it or not? In additon would that picture quality be better or would another DVD player with component cables instead? and will the picture be 1080P, 1080i, 720P or just somewhere between 480p and 720P?
