I have a PC audio issue, can someone help?
Okay, I've searched online for this problem but nobody else seems to be having it. Basically, my problem is - My PC audio input is an SPDIF Interface (TX1) With VIA High definition audio. It uses a fibre optic cable which runs to my home theatre system. It seems however that the sound on it is, let's say "off" a bit. When a sound needs to be played from the PC, you can hear a sort of "blip" noise from the speakers, as if they are "turning on" (despite being on the whole time) and when the sound is over, you can hear a second blip, as if the speakers are "turning off". This has been really frustrating as the "turning on" process actually misses out around one second of the sound that is being played, so notifications etc are totally useless now. I thought that maybe the wire was damaged (as I had been using the PC in this way for over a month and had no problems like this) so I tried the cable in my PS3, which worked fine. I reckon it's gotta be a software issue but I've uninstalled, reinstalled and disabled all other audio devices countless times, to no avail! Please help!
As I've already said - I TRIED THE SAME CABLE AND THE SAME SPEAKER SYSTEM ON MY PS3 AND IT WORKED FINE. NO WEIRD "BLIP" NOISES AT ALL.
Thanks for the help guys, but I still have the problem. There's no option in power management, and the device is definitely using the optical cable for the connection. The weirdest thing is that it WAS working until only recently when I re-installed Windows. Even then, it worked okay for a short while and then this BS started to happen!

Overclocking myself.
and I'll be damned it's the same price!
One thing that I'm worried about, after changing the MB it told me "You need P67 or Z68 Motherboard to overclock your CPU" As I'm planning on overclocking the CPU MYSELF, i need to know if this will keep me from overclocking, or if it was simply keeping the manufacturer from doing it.
Another thing: I'm sticking with 800watt because I'm planning on upgrading my GPU down the road.

Are You Going to a Super Bowl Party this year?
It's that time of year again. The Super Bowl is right around the corner and features a rematch from four years ago: the New York Giants Vs. the New England Patriots. Both teams are on fire, riding a serious wave of momentum. But just because millions of fans can't attend the big game, doesn't mean they can't have fun watching it!
Once a year, family and friends alike gather at each other's homes or local bars to watch the big game. Nachos? Sure. Chili? Heck yeah! Buying a new big screen, high definition television just for the sake of Super Sunday? Err...we don't know about that one. Super Sunday is no Thanksgiving or Christmas by any means, but it has become a fabric of American culture and an unofficial holiday for millions.
So, chow down on those chips, drink a soda or two and watch the Giants Vs. Patriots. Let the sports debates and chicken wing eating contests begin! That is of course, if you are going to a Super Bowl party. Well, are you?
Party time! Are you going?
