Product Review: Hitachi Ultravision Director's Series 60" Flat Panel Plasma HDTV
Hitachi, with its lineup of new Flat panel HDTV televisions has set itself up to be a leader in the HDTV revolution. Model number P60X901 is certainly no exception. A two year parts and labor warranty from the factory will ensure that your HDTV Plasma flat panel works without problems. The sixty-inch screen size and 16:9 aspect ratio ensure movie theater picture, and stereo sound has you covered, too. Although this unit does not come with a built-in DVR, it is Digital Cable ready and has a resolution level of 1920 x 1080. The Hitachi Director's series comes equipped with a V-chip, multifunction remote control, and sleep timer. There is no media card slot, USB slot, PC input, and it is not Energy Star rated, but chances are, you won't even notice those unless you are specifically looking for them.
The viewing experience is pleasant with this HDTV, with no apparent problems at the outset, and none of the graininess that can be found on some Hdtv Receivers. The stereo surround sound is by itself not unpleasant, but benefits tremendously from the addition of a Dolby surround system, as would be expected. Language options for this Plasma HDTV are the requisite English, French, and Spanish.
Hitachi HDTV's are available at most major retailers, most notably Best Buy, where the Ultravision 60" HDTV can be had for less than seven thousand dollars. As this set weighs in the neighborhood of two-hundred pounds, you may also wish to have the store install and set up the HDTV for you, as well, particularly if you plan to have it wall-mounted. Otherwise, plan to have a couple of friends help you set it up. The set is big and unwieldy. How do I get rid of Dish Network HDTV blur and graininess?
I just got an HDTV receiver (the ViP612) and I got it all setup with an HDMI cable plugged into my TV running at 720p. My problem is that my picture on my TV does not look all that good. It is very grainy at all times and sometimes it gets very pixelated. When there is any sort of motion, it blurs a lot. With this quality picture, I thought that maybe my coaxial cords plugged into my satellite were bad so I swapped those around a bit and there was no improvement. Is there anything else I can do to improve my picture?

Video but no audio for direct tv HDTV?
we just recently purchased an HDTV receiver from Direct Tv, and i have an Emerson Flat Screen HDTV compatible tv. we set it up, plugged the plugs in the correct sockets. We turned on the tv and saw the olympics were on, the picture was better than what we expected, only problem was, there was no sound. whats the problem?
ive looked through the menu, checked the wires, and everything else. but still no sound..can someone help out?

How to wire my PS3 HDTV Receiver Desktop?
Hi all, I would like to use 5.1 surround for all my components:
PS3 - for games and movies.
TV - for watching regular TV channels.
Computer Desktop - for mp3 music and video.
I already have HDMI-HDMI from PS3 to HDTV, people said to add an optical cable from PS3 to Receiver and change the audio setting on the PS3. If I do it this way, will the PS3 sound also come out on my HDTV speakers? And what other wires do I need to watch regular TV channels with surround sound?
I already have DVI-HDMI from desktop to the HDTV and RCA cable from desktop to receiver, will this set up work with 5.1 surround?
