Review Of The Samsung LCD 26in. HDTV-Ready LE26R74BDX
I bought my LCD screen from a place called Tribal UK approximately 2 years ago. The 26in screen was reliable at that time. I was glad to purchase the TV for the price of around 500 dollars. I looked over a few wed shops, the high street, and also compared the quality for the picture. The decision I came to was that the Samsung TV will give the best quality picture and clarity I need. This Television has a brighter image than the other ones close to it. I think that is very important.
I got the TV home in good working order. As I raised it from the huge box I was amazed to see how great it appeared on my row of drawers. Much better than I could have dreamed, its dark shinny rim shone great as the light hit it. You could see how the shiny screen was completely surrounded. I was guided by easy instructions on the fitting of the stand, which was as easy as pushing it to and I was done. The control was an easy to us device. It has clear labels and the buttons or apart for better use. It came with the batteries. I was watching my TV in no time.
This was an easy to follow guide and I had no trouble tuning in the television, this only took around 5 min. You easily tell the TV to scan for all the no cost channels, and it does. Yes it is that simple. It has around 40 channels like Dave and many more others. I changed the quality settings to what I like. Setting only took about 10 min. to tune the brightness, contrast, and the sharpness. This TV also has four presents Cinema, Standard, Dynamic, and Custom. For a well lit room choose Dynamic and for the less bright rooms choose Cinema for your films, and in the dimmer rooms use Standard. The Samsung LCD television is High Def. ready and the pixel quality is 1366 x 768. That is great for a screen this size. I don't know if there is a 26in. Television that has the full high definition. The contrastI would say the Samsung LCD 26in. HDTV-Ready LE26R74BDX is worth the purchase. And make sure check prices before you buy.

It's kind of old. I'd say like 5-6 years old.
Does it need a digital converter box to watch the free broadcast stations?
How exactly can you tell without going and buying an antenna and trying it out?
