I don't know anything about it other than it scans the channels and converts them to digital.
What should I be looking for on the box?
Also, I don't have antena (I live in appartment) so I use the VCR antena.... I think... Will that work?

Look for known brands like samsung or zenith...they build them better than Ho Down or Starkist or Harley....
Hook it up JUST LIKE a VCR to your TV set, your antenna should be ok to use.
