Ran into a good deal on a great used 42" TV buyer wanted $950 but lowered to $850. Is this a gooddeal or should I pay the extra $400 or so for a 42'' 1080p
Any reccomendations? Looking tofindsomething off Amazon since I have a $200 gift card

I would take that $200 gift card and BUY a Denon Dolby amp....
THEN I would buy the 1080P TV set for $400 more....
WHY?
Because even though it's an $850 Panasonic Plasma....I would worry that the guy selling it is selling it because it's LEMONY-FRESH.....smells lemony, tastes lemony and you would be buying all that LEMONY goodness that he no longer wanted.....
It would keep me awake at nights.....
Even if it wasn't lemony good....uh, er bad I mean.
Don't buy somebody else's problems...

this is the 32 inch, an okay deal but the 42 inch is almost the same price, actually 100 dollars cheaper.

Peronsally, there is not much diff. between a 32 and a 42. you really dont need one that big. but go with whatever floats your boat
have fun, tech improves so quickly, doesn't it?! - If you like sports go for the plasma, if your not a sports fan buy an lcd tv. myself i like a warranty so i would buy new.
