Show me another »How do I hook up my older ps2 to a new LG LCD tv?
I've purchased color-coded Component cords to connect the PS2 to the Component 1 inputs on the back of the tv. I get sound but no video. What am I doing wrong?
Additional Details
I'm sure that I've properly connected the wires since they are clearly coded and marked (audio/video). I've also purchased two separate sets in case one was bad. In both instances I go audio but no video.

I'm wondering if there is a special setting on the tv other than selecting the proper Component input setting, which I did.

Check you component cable connection to the TV. The colors should match- red, blue and then green.
You may have mixed the red audio cables with the red one for the video.

- take piug it in the wall then get the color cords (red,yellow,white ) plug it in the tv see if that works0% 0 Votes
