I guess it depends on what you consider indoors ;-) I have one mounted in my attic with a directional motor on the base. Terk -38 I think is the model but I forget the motor brand.

Before you spend money on just any antenna, go out to www.antennaweb.org They have a program that will tell you what signals you can receive and in what direction the antenna should point all from your home address.

The other thing you should watch in the site output is the stations are then color coded so you need to get an antenna with that color coding or higher to receive it. A good way to be sure what you buy will get the stations you expect.

Zenith makes a really nice antenna. I have used it in the past but there are a couple of things to consider. One, you need to live withing a 40 mile or so distance from where TV Towers are located. Two, you need to make sure there are no big buidings or hills (or other big obstructions that block a clear view of the towers. You don't have to be able to see them, just not have a big building right in front of your place. Third, you need to make sure it will be pointing towards the TV broadcating towers. this is a directional antenna so the closer you are to pinting to the towers, the better reception you can get.
I switched to an outdoor version of the antenna after a while and I get even more channels. great way to get Free digital and HD versions of my local channels.

I would once have said a Terk, and they are good if you buy the higher levels. Then I ran across this Air2PC-ATSC-PCI Terrestrial HDTV receiver on Ebay and purchased it. It was only about $25. I was surprised how well it works in my area.
