Will Knology cable eventually require you to get a DTV converter box?
My grandma has Comcast and she had to get a box for each TV about 6 months ago. We have Knology. Will we have to do this? If so when?

TV doesn't respond to remotes' on/off button?
I have a Philips TV that works just fine except for one problem. It can't be turned on or off with a remote control. The remote that came with the TV hasn't been able to do with for several years now, but I was using the universal remote that came with the government DTV converter box [to turn on and off], and now that one doesn't work either. All the rest of the main remote's buttons work perfectly (change channel, volume, etc.) I tried to reprogram the DTV converter box remote with no success, I even tried programming an extra DTV remote that I have, nothings worked. I have changed the batters in all of my remotes, they still don't work. Please let there be a simple answer to this.
