Overview The Sony BRAVIA 1080p 52-inch flat-panel LCD HDTV will be the focus of this product review and my personal choice while remodeling my house for a television in my computer room. I recently did a review on the 46-inch version of this television, which my uncle ended up using for his bedroom. These televisions are different as this product review will show. Finally, I will provide you with my final thoughts and an estimated price, allowing you to be fully prepared before even taking one step into the store.

Specifications The Sony BRAVIA 1080p 52 inch flat panel LCD HDTV comes with a one year limited warranty for the parts and labor, allowing you to feel completely comfortable with your purchase in this Sony product. It has a height of 34-2/5" with stand (32-4/5" without). The width of the unit is 49-4/5". The depth of the television is 13-4/5" with stand (4-4/5" without). The Sony's weight is 84 lbs. with stand (71 lbs. without). The screen size is 52 inches with an aspect ratio of 16:9. The display and television type is an LCD flat panel, which means it's a great picture. The maximum resolution is 1920x1080, the maximum vertical. The comb filter on the unit is 3D. The media card slot and USB slots are not present on this television, which can be a huge drawback when uploading information. The picture in picture feature is present on this Sony. There are four HDMI inputs but not DVI inputs. There are one s-video input, two component video inputs, one composite input, one PC input, two audio outputs, and two speakers. The speakers have simulated surround sound, providing better quality than a regular speaker set up on a television. The watts to channel ratio is 10:1. The language options are English, French, Spanish. There is a v-chip and channel labeling. This unit is ENERGY STAR Qualified, meaning you will save money on your electric bill. This unit only has a refresh rate of 60Hz. Conclusion This is a good television. I've been using it and find absolutely no flaws in its performance. It provides great quality and never fails to keep giving. I highly recommend this television to anyone who needs one that fits the dimensions. It will cost you almost the same price as the BRAVIA 46 inch because you have a lower refresh rate, which doesn't affect it all that much.
