Home Theater Big Screen TV

Every home should have a home theater Big Screen Tv. With todays HDTV there are just to many excellent DVD videos movies to watch. Soon there will be nothing but HDTV so that old TV is out so why not a Big Screen Tv to make the change.

It seems like a Big Screen Tv is getting easier for the average person to afford every day as the demand rises.

There are three types of big screen TV's I recommend to consider in todays electronics age. The Digital Projection, LCD and Plasma big screen TV. Let me explain what they are.

Big Screen Digital Projection TV s have come a long way with the presence of new electronics technology. Digital projections TV s today play clear and bright video pictures. Take for example Toshibas 56" Theaterwide Rear Projection TV. You can get a big screen TV up to 100 inches in diameter for less than $2, 000 making digital projection TV s a great value and extremely affordable.

LCD TV s are similar to today s computer monitors. While they don t come as big yet as the digital projection TV s, they are ultra thin and light weight. Many LCD TV s can be mounted on a wall for space saving reasons. LCD s are much more expensive than digital projection, but the price is dropping very fast.

Plasma TV s are the Grand Daddy of the big screen TV s. You can find plasma TV s in the 40 inch to 60 inch range like this 42" Widescreen Edtv Plasma Tv, but expect to pay a lot. For the money, plasma delivers an awesome picture.

With this new age of electronic technology there is no reason not to have a big screen TV. They are affordable and the day is coming when all TV's will be digital and there will be no other choice.

Is it fair for me to pay for most all of the wedding? Will he ever help me? What can I do?
Okay. I'll give you some backstory. My fiance and I got engaged on our 3 year anniversary of dating. We set the date for the wedding exactly 1 year from that date on our 4 year anniversary. He works a full time job and is always buying big things. He got a mac computer- the laptop one even though he already had a laptop. He got a mac desktop computer (of course the biggest and most expensive one that was over $2,000), he did buy my engagement ring- he spent $300 on it- about $400 in the end when I talked him into adding insurance. He just bought a brand new Toyota Corolla for over $15,000 and is paying about $300 a month on it now, he has a fancy droid phone (of course the biggest and fanciest one of them all) and is paying like $70 or $80 a month for it and all he talks about is wanting to spend about $400 or $800 to get the latest and fanciest and biggest Gig I-phone like the one he has is not good enough because it's not Macintosh. He got a big screen TV that was about $900. He just has gotten so much stuff in the 3 years we had been dating. . . . . I am a modest person. . . I work a part time job as a lunch lady for a school system. I don't have work during the summer and when I do have work I only make about $500 to $850 a month depending on if there are a lot of day off school during then. I try to supplement this as much as i can through selling on E-bay but I just started that recently. I have a basic little car my parents got for me used for $2,000 when I was about 18 (I am 23 now), I have my non smart phone that only runs me about $29 a month, I dont own a computer aside from this ancient laptop my brother gave me since it was "obsolete to him" it is very very slow- can't go on the internet. I am on someone elses computer right now. I never spend a lot of money on myself. With that said, I have been saving up every dime I can between paying for car insurance and bills related to times my car needed fixing because it's pretty old. But most every cent I had left over I've tried to spend towards the wedding. So far I have spent about $1,300 or $1,400 or so for it. I'm still not done. . . I'm thinking by the end of it I'll have spend $2,000 because I still need chair covers and ties and table cloths and stuff like that. I've done very well so far. I got a place for cheap- only $100 a day, Got my dress for cheap- only $200. I got my ring for cheap $99. I have not bought him a ring yet but the one he wants is a bit expensive even though he says he probably wont wear it because he does not like jewelry. The wedding is almost 3 months away- it is March 29th and the honeymoon is right after it (which I have calculated with train ticket and hotel costs and everything it will run us about $1,000). . . . I am trying to save every dime I can towards it but I am so worried I will not have enough. He says he'll help me. So far in the past time between last March 29th he's given me $100 towards the wedding. . . . . That it. ... . . He keeps saying "Dont worry about it. It'll all turn out. I think about giving you money all the time. I'll help you" but months go by and he has not helped me!! I would not mind so much if he did not have all these lavish things for himself and did not have a full time job but he does have all that. . . . And all he ever talks about is saving up for his I-phone. . . He does not even say "I want an i-phone" he says "I want MY i-phone" . . . Which sounds so egotistical to me. . . .I love him, don't get me wrong he can be sweet anda great guy- but when it comes to his stuff he can be weird. . . . He gets upset when I bring up him helping me. . . I just feel so worried. . . And I'm not going to my parents for help. They have so many medical bills from a recent issue with my Dad and they only have a part time job themselves. Plus they are not obligated to do this for me. Really its my own fault for wanting a wedding like this. I could have just gone cheap and not spent over $500 on everything but I really wanted a memorable wedding. I know if I dont I'll look back at pictures and think "I wish I had done a bit more than just that" . . . . Every girl dreams of a fantasy wedding- - -and yes, at my budget it wont be like some weddings you see- but to me it's just enough. Any advice? Please kind answers only! I am stressed out enough as it is . . .. Thank you for reading my post!! I just talked to him. I told him everything and that I felt like I was all alone in this. He said "I care about the wedding just like you do. We have the same priorities. Don't worry" But then I told him if we did then why is it all he ever talks about when it comes to saving up is the i-phone and never our wedding and for me I'm always saving up for our wedding. He got defensive and said "I'm sorry, I dont want a phone anymore" like he was going from one extreme to another. I dont wish he didnt have a phone. I just wish he would put more of us first. We're a couple and I dont think I should feel so alone in this. I told him it's getting to the wire and it's almost too late for him to help me because most everything I need to do is soon- I am ordering online to get things as low as price as possible and it takes a while to get it shipped- and for the honeymoon I have to plan ahead and get everything reserved ahead of time. He questions if I l Just talked more to him. He said he was sorry and he hopes I can forgive him. I said I love him and of course I forgive him as long as I can see some change in his promise he made to me to help me out on this together. He says he's going to help me. . . . Time will tell if he's serious. In the meantime I told him I'm not sending out the invites til NEXT month instead of this month- - - - - I said that depending on how this month goes til my next paycheck I'll see whether we'll keep the wedding or postpone it til next year or til we can figure out our priorities. I have talked to him. He says he does not have money between paying for his car bill, his phone bill, paying his parents a little for living with them, and food and gas. He says he's going to help me now though after I threatened him with canceling it and questioning things. I see he's listed a lot of his things on E-bay now. I asked him if he's okay with it and he says he can't think of any other way to help me with the expenses. He's selling most of his Sports illustrated swimsuit books and his posters of women in bikinis in a lot and some of his trading cards and things. I guess I'll see how things go soon enough . . Thank you for all the thoughtful advice!

Have you had bad experiences with FEDEX?
Hello! I was shocked at that video shown online these past days of the FEDEX worker throwing the big screen TV over the resident's gate. Wow! I had a Fedex nightmare last week as well. I had ordered a book for college online and it was supposed to arrive on Friday (per the tracking online). At about 2:45pm I looked online and it showed that it had been delivered to another person in my subdivision, on another street with another name and number. AND the person SIGNED for it!! So I waited to see if the person would come bring my package here, and at 5pm I went there and the guy was on the porch doing nothing. He said he had my package, and he gave it to me. He left it outside and it was about to rain! I asked why he signed if he saw that it was my name on the package, he said he thought it was for him. Duh. I was so upset. When I got home I called FEDEX to complain. That book is expensive, and I almost lost it. So, tell me your bad experience with FEDEX. Thanks!
